SID MCGINNIS

BIOGRAPHY

McGinnis joined "Late Night with David Letterman" back in 1984 as "guest guitarist of the week" and has remained as a permanent guitarist ever since. Before and during his tenure with Paul Shaffer, McGinnis has worked on a diverse number of projects including commercials, film scores, and TV theme songs such as "The Cosby Show." McGinnis was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. Today he makes his home in Hobbs Ferry, NY.
